Fix Track id (=sp-006) Error in Seconds

The track id (=sp-006) error usually occurs when your browser might recently be affected by Adware or PUP (Potentially Unwanted Programs). What it causes is it automatically redirects our search to "trackid" whenever we try to search something often starting with "Google" in Google Chrome Browser. 

It is itself a Malware. It might even keep track of cookies, data and information exchanged from your browser.

There are basically three simple steps to remove this error. Any of them would work. But it is highly recommended that you do all three for better safety and protection of your PC.




Solution - 1

Edit your Google URL in Search Engines.

Step-1 Go to settings in Chrome.

Step-2 Click Manage Search Engines.

Step-3 Under Google, click URL tab (Google is automatically set to your default browser in chrome). Now, edit the URL with "http://www.google.com/search?q=%s".

Click Finished and You won't be getting Trackid errors from now.


Solution - 2 Download Anti-Malware

As Track id is a malware it is must to scan your pc at least once to remove it.

Solution - 3 Reset Google Chrome

This malware might be keeping tracks of cookies, data and information 

exchanged within browser. So best way is to clean cookies and other site plugin 

data. But reset the chrome browser is best to avoid future attacks.

To reset just go to Setting>Show Advanced Setting>Reset (At the bottom)

All the cookies, cached images and data and login data will be deleted. Although, 

your bookmark won't be deleted.
